| ... The vinyl picture disc is the platform where Laar and Wesely come together, creating visual 'recordings' that can be played on a turntable, sound-imprinted photographs. The exposure time of then photograph is identical to the time of the sound recording on the disc. Both recordings were taken at the same time, resulting in a project that tries to freeze various situations in sound and photography on one medium, a slice of time ... Ten of the twelve discs of the São Paulo Edition were arranged on ten turntables. The public was invited to participate, to turn the records, look at the photographs and listen to the sounds.
